  • What does the moon orbit?
  • What is the moon made up of?
  • Why does it look like the moon changes shape in the sky?
  • What do waxing and waning mean?

2) Watch this video about a solar eclipse:



On lined paper, explain what a solar eclipse is (hint: I am only looking for a 1 sentence explanation, so you do not need to summarize all the facts!).
